Klinger newly patented product. The world’s first sealing material reinforced only with HNBR.

The product is a result of research aimed at manufacturing non-asbestos sealing product reinforced with fibre whose parameters are similar to KLINGERite, which would at the same time meet the contemporary tightness and environmental requirements.

Exceptional flexibility for continued use at high temperatures, and a broad chemical resistance range.

Recommended for use in installations and systems that involve water, vapour, oil, gas, fuel, alcohol, saline solutions, weak acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and coolants

Standard dimensions: 1000x1500mm, 2000x1500mm; thickness: 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm.

KLINGERSIL

High pressure non-asbestos sealing products
Material:

  • SIL C-4106, base: synthetic fibres and cork with NBR binder

  • SIL C-4300, base: aramid fibre with NBR binder

  • SIL C-4400, base: aramid fibre with NBR binder

  • SIL C-4408, base: aramid fibre with NBR binder; reinforced with steel mesh

  • SIL C-4409, base: synthetic fibres with NBR binder; reinforced with expanded metal mesh

  • SIL C-4430, base: mixture of synthetic and glass fibre with NBR binder; fire-proof

  • SIL C-4500, base: carbon fibre with high-temperature proof additives, with NBR binder; fire-proof

  • SIL C-4509, base: carbon fibres with high-temperature proof additives, with NBR binder; High-Tech material: resistance to extremely high temperatures and pressures

  • SIL C-6307, base: aramid fibres with NR and SBR binders; self-sealing by expansion under the influence of oil

KLINGERtop-sil

Material:

  • KLINGERtop-sil-ML1, base: synthetic fibres with outer HNBR and inner NBR binder; multilayer structure

Vapour resistance up to 300ºC. Flexibility retained over a long period of use: transmission of changing loads. High strength and stability against heavy loads
Agents: oils, vapour, gases, saline solutions, fuels, lubricants, alcohol, weak organic and mineral acids, hydrocarbons, coolants

KLINGERtop-chem

Retains the advantages of PTFE, and at the same time reduces largely the flow which is typical of this material. The flow for KLINGERtop-chem-2000 is only 1.6% for surface load of 50 MPa and temperature 200°C

  • Maxil 1000R, base: carbon fibres reinforced with steel mesh, with NBR binder;

  • Maxil ACID, base: aramid fibres with synthetic elastomer binder

Agents: oils, water, gases, weak acids and lyes; for selected materials – also vapour and hydrocarbons

RivaTherm

Kempchen’s original RivaTherm-Super y graphite sheets
Base: top purity homogenous graphite, used even for nuclear applications. High durability guaranteed by the patented technology for glueless joining of graphite with the gasket’s sheet metal
